How Android Phones Will Force The Features Of iPhone 7 And 8
Although Apple introduced the touch screen smartphone but Google and its team of partners have done a great job in introducing the new concepts in smartphones. The Android phones have evolved immensely between these past few years. There is no doubt that from 2011, Android is offering much higher specs and excellent hardware in their smartphones.
Apple’s iPhone is always at least two generations behind the latest Android flagship phones. Android introduced water resistance and wireless charging much earlier than Apple.
Samsung and LG introduced the phablets and people fell in love with them. The bigger phones with QHD panels are in demand nowadays. These phones taught the users what to expect from a display. Apple has been claiming that it knows how to make their customers happy. Eventually, they had to introduce bigger smartphones as they also knew that the bigger phones are in demand.
The truth is that iPhone has decent specs today due to the Android brands like LG and Samsung. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that these Android brands set the trend which Apple takes up much later. If Samsung and LG were not in the market, the new iPhone would still look like iPhone 4. Android is really good at introducing the latest technology in their phones and iPhone knows how to sell their phones. They also have the benefit of controlling everything especially the financial transactions.
So if you want to guess what the new iPhones would look like in coming years then just look at the flagship smartphones of Android in the market nowadays. The new iPhone most probably would be water and dust resistant with 3 or 4 GB of RAM and with an enchanting QHD display. All these features are already available in the Android phones and just like the past few years, Apple would again introduce these features much later.
So anything else Android might force Apple into? Maybe Modular turns out to be the future and Apple have to follow suit once Project Ara gets off the ground. Who knows! One thing is for sure is they will continue to copy each other!
